@Charlie - the cyclist has the same rights as any other road user to overtake safely
The BMW driver is just another frustrated driver who thinks they have a right to be in front because they've got an engine and clearly London (and similar cities) are not made for fast travelling so there's really no point trying to overtake just to be stuck in the next jam 100 yards further on but there's no point explaining this to "stupid people"

You seem eager to construct some kind of straw man scenario. Your comment also completely avoids any reference to the driver's actions; including their positioning and passing distance (or lack of). To be honest I can see why the traffic behind would be annoyed. As many vehicles as possible need to get through the green light before it turns red. Do you really have to overtake all the other cyclists just to get to the front? Seems rather selfish to me. Everyone has a role in keeping traffic flowing.

Cycle lane use isn't compulsory. You also failed to mention the uploader's comment: "I was just about to finish passing the other cyclists and move over".
Don't blame the cyclist for the driver's reckless antics. They were too close, should not have used their car as a weapon and should not have barged past. Oh, and you might want to look at where almost all the congestion in London comes from, and what the average speed is. It's not cyclists.
FAO the cyclist. In my opinion you should simply get a horn - and stay away where possible. Don't continue it. Your safety and that of those around is paramount and if you lose concentration you could end up in an accident. Someone who is capable of driving so bad is also more than capable of doing it again. Just keep filming and go about your business. I say this to drivers as well. Don't give a fool any mitigating potential mitigation.

Claim you were ready to pull in after overtaking the other cyclists. But there is no evidence you ever pulled in at all even when there were absolutely no other cyclists to pass. You are just a small minded lycra lout.
No, the prick in the car shouldn't have behaved the way he did but there has to be some give and take and courtesy on all sides.
