sorry OP, whilst the undertaking was dangerous, you were complicit in tailgating him to begin with.

Forgive me, but it seems he was driving slowly because there was a huge lorry in front of him...? Also, bit hypocritical seeing as you then proceed to break the speed limit by 7mph.

Dave. That is a guideline only. The speed limit is still 60, therefore the law is being broken.

"The truth is that the “10% plus 2” rule isn’t actually a rule at all: it is merely a guideline. The ‘rule’ originates from speed enforcement guidance issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers[1] which sets out the strategy that police forces should use when enforcing speed limits."

By 7mph? UK laws state you are allowed to go at the designated road speed +10% +2mph which for this road would be 68 before any law is broken. If you watch the speed carefully, the driver safely overtakes then reduces speed once past the vehicle.

It wasn't the driving slowly that was the problem (besides, when it's safe to overtake, it's safer doing so than just sitting behind, because otherwise you just leave more of an obstruction to other road users behind you).

It's the completely unnecessary braking and then pulling a massively risky stunt that put the OP and the other cars in danger that's the problem. Going 7mph over the limit is peanuts compared with driving like an absolute psychopath.

That's completely irrelevant. Sure, if there's something the person filming did first, they both lose their licenses. Either way, the 4x4 driver is going down. There is no excuse for such irresponsible driving, doesn't matter what provoked it whatsoever - the 4x4 driver endangered the life of the person filming AND the people in the 4 cars passing in the other direction.

Surely he can be done for dangerous driving? Have you reported the idiot to the police?

Whilst driving to work, I was stuck behind a slow moving vehicle on a 60MPH road. So I kept over to the right of the road and at a safe distance from the driver in front. This must have annoyed him as he randomly hits the brakes so hard you can see the front of his car drop. When the road is clear, I safely overtake him and ignore the fingers and swerving into the side of my car.

That's not the end though, because this idiot then decides to undertake me and nearly ends up in the back of the horse box. I've encountered my fair share of morons on the road, but this one has some serious anger management issues.

Tailgating? I could a two-second gap at the start. Then the vehicle in front decides to play around with their brakes. The reduced gap is almost entirely due to the vehicle in front.

As they're over-taken you can the car in front has no obstruction and is weaving around due to the driver not having control and thus weaving around like a mad-man.

The dash-cam driver didn't end up stuck being the other keep..the other jeep did a reckless, dangerous under-take; this with oncoming traffic traveling at significant speed.

Whatever you complaint, it in no way justifies the actions of the jeep driver who was basically a prick out to cause injury or death. I doubt very much the police and the courts would give your outburst much consideration, either. Oh but apparently you think this makes the dash-cam driver a snob..my God, are you THAT deluded? Or just a shit driver? Maybe you are the jeep still wanting to throw their rattle out the pram. Well, grow up.
