Not a big deal here, grabbed him by the jaw, shouted and pushed him away just a breach of the peace IF the police give him a knock on the door. Also to nit pick the guy with the dash-cam parked on 2 yellows.

Was nice of him to drive back round so the camera could caprure a good view of his face. I was going to say that this will help with prosecution as he can’t try denying it was him now. But then I read the other comments and am horrified to learn that the police say there isn’t enough evidence. WTF?

What's the deal?

The guy did practically nothing, and the video is edited so you can't see what led to the confrontation.

It could be a disabled vehicle for a disabled passenger? My car is registered as a disabled vehicle, as my dad is disabled. I drive him around. I'm not disabled.

2017-12-07 01:59:56 is right. The Tories and their cut-backs have also depleted even more resources, to the point where lots of crimes are now being completely ignored by the police. So you get couldn't-care-less attitudes with funding cuts..it IS going to get get MUCH worse than everything you see on this site.

The solution? All the Tories are interested in is draconian snooper laws and making sure that when we leave the EU, that corporations can rape and pillage as they see fit whilst the Tories benefit from it. It's a dire situation - we addressed the corrupt EU and now we MUST address the government's shortcomings. Remember that this wasn't a Prime Minister people elected. The English have yet to fully take their country back and drain the swamp and until then you will continue to the get people like this driver on our roads, thinking they can shit all over this country and do what they like. Well reap as we sow. We saw this coming years ago so be prepared.

If it had happened to a police officer or their partner or some person in authority or witnessed by a police officer you can bet your bottom dollar that proper action would be taken.

One rule for them and one rule for us. We are wrong to report it and wrong when we challenge it and sometimes we'll be wrong when we try to protect ourselves.

Fucking police and CPS need a kick up the arse or grabbed by the scruff of their necks to see if they like it and if they take court action just use this case as precedence.

'He zoomed off, but to his credit he must have only been doing a maximum of 32mph.'

.. in a 20 zone.

"I didn't want it to go to court, because there are much more serious things for them to be dealing with, but I expected him to at least get a slap on the wrist."

A driving instructor; one who thinks speeding along with physical assault doesn't warrant anything other than a slap on the wrist? No wonder if happens. It's called Stockholm Syndrome. The asshole even turned around and came at you a second time, trying to open you doors..for fuck's sake, you do NOT appease people liek that, you do whatever it takes to remove the threat be it run them fucking over, flee, remove their teeth with your fists or worse. Liberals can go fuck themselves quite frankly - innocent people ARE being assaulted and killed on our roads and as such that warrants all of the above. If you have no choice then you have no choice but to fight, for your life. The asshole who assaulted you needs to see court, if all of what you say is true because the more you try and keep them out, the more they will be inclined to do it again. It's the only thing they understand.

'Despite passing the footage to cops – which includes the registration plate of the thug’s Citroen - police said there was “insufficient evidence” and dropped the case.'

It's not insufficient evidence - it's this FUCKING TORY government's incessant cut-backs coupled with a police force that is more concerned with political correctness than it is fighting crime!

Oh just look at the sub-heading on that Bristol Post article:

'The 20mph zones were controversial when they were introduced in Bristol and it seems they cause anger elsewhere too'

That's right: blame the 20 mph zone! Not the driver.

In most cases these zones were introduced on account of the sheer number of people who wanted them. Why did they want them? Because a) they're concerned about (some) driver speeding etc and b) They preferred this to speed ramps which penalise everyone for the sake of a moronic minority. It's also been proven, how speeds lower than 30 mph drastically improve not only thinking time but also the chances of surviving an impact. In other countries many people drive at these speeds without issue.

Arrogant prick! And police said there was “insufficient evidence” What more evidence do you need than a video of someone with their hands around anothers throat?
