Crap. You're a reactive force primarily there to service the needs of the minority. If you were a pro-active force representing the needs of the majority (as was the case prior), then incidents like this would be fewer. All we've seen is police stations closing and police spending absurd amounts of money targeting thought crimes, including the 'crime' of people being offended by words. Then there's the attempted silencing of people for their political beliefs under the ambiguous guise of hate crime..

The police are there to pick up the mess and massage the needs of the few. Only the other day a mother in Tipton was STABBED returning to her car, by what some are alleging is a repeated offender. The police care more about people who criticise religion than they do fighting crime and this is why you get incidents such as the one reported here. Unless it's serious and unless you oppose some moon God, anything goes.
