To my knowledge, the purpose of vehicle indicators is to advise that a vehicle is pulling out into the flow of traffic for other drivers to be aware of the drivers intention.
At 8.15am on Manchester Road in Haslingden, when in the flow of traffic and already committed to overtake with vehicles behind me I would not expect a bus to flash me in anger once I have passed because I did not stop in a dangerous position to allow him to pull-out.
I would also not expect him to tailgate me along the road.
I would also not expect him to pull up alongside me at the Acre roundabout, open his window and grin at me.
Nor would I expect him to drape his arm out of the window to wave a ‘wanker sign’ at me as he turns off the roundabout in the direction of Baxenden and Accrington.
I would expect me to report the matter to the Police for further action.
