It was the woman's responsibility to check it was clear because she was pulling out onto a main road.

As we see her only put her seat belt on after the incident, it's likely she didn't notice the cycle because she was distracted by something else, maybe putting her purse away, handling a drink or snacks, fiddling with her phone etc. otherwise wouldn't she have already fastened her seat belt?

To make matters worse, she left the scene of an accident without exchanging details.

She knew full well she was in the wrong but had the audacity to say the cyclist was speeding. If she really thought the cyclist was at fault, why didn't she get out her car and check for damage to her own vehicle, as one usually would?

There are too many people on the roads who make mistakes and then refuse to own up to them. If you mess up, put your hands up and admit to it instead of being a wimp and trying to blame others.

Tailgating cars in outside lane for 10 miles on M62 then swerved across three lanes to drive for just over one mile flat out >100mph along hard shoulder leaving at J21 westbound. Reported to police and I hope he gets a visit before he kills someone

Driver clearly decided that they weren't going to obey the rules of the road like the rest of the people queuing at the lights to go straight on and sped past in a right turn only lane to head straight on.
