Apparently I was on his side if the road, I'm an effing idiot and there's plenty of room for three cars. This is a regular occurrence on this stretch of road people overtake without even looking if anything is coming and obviously still overtake if there is!
As you can tell I was able to reverse and ask him why he overtook as there was nothing immediately behind me, hence why I still can't understand his hurry to pass.
Please ignore the timestamp it keeps going out this occurred at about 08:05 on 28/11/16

MX64 BWP - This white van driver is dangerous. He just tried to overtake me on a 30mph industrial estate road, in a town centre, near a bend, almost hitting a car coming in the opposite direction, who had to break sharply to avoid an accident. Then as you see he overtakes me breaking the speed limit in a residential area, impatient, poor judgment and downright recklessness. On Old Bridge Way and Churchill Way, Shefford, Beds - 26.11.16

This is a single track bridge with a 20 mph speed limit that is located in the village of Farcet, Cambridgeshire. It is clearly signposted along with road markings to indicate that there is a humpback bridge and the oncoming traffic has the right of way. Due to the angle of the approaching traffic you need to pull over to the left and stop to make sure the road is clear of oncoming traffic.

The "Go Direct" van driver OY16 CJF that firstly pulls up behind me, seems to think that the signs and road markings do not apply to him. He decides to pull out over the marked off safety chevron area on the road, around me and attempts to go over the bridge. This is when he discovers what the signs and road markings are for, not to mention the fact that I have already stopped to give way. Coming over the bridge towards him and closely avoiding a head-on is the oncoming traffic that does have the right-of-way.

Not only is he driving dangerously, with no courtesy towards other drivers, without due care and attention and obviously has no concern for other road users. Being in a company vehicle also brings his company name "Go Direct" into disrepute along with all of the brands it represents such as Hotpoint, Indesit, Cannon, Creda and Arston. It's only a shame it was not a police car coming the other way!

It is a shame he is aloud to portray such a bad reputation of our good engineers out on our UK roads.

PC *. You don't understand why the cyclist uploaded this video? Then it would appear attitudes like YOURS are part of that reason. See, if you can't see the wrong in what this driver did then it's no flaming surprise social media does. What was the objective here: to make the law look like an ass? Have a flucking medal..

00:20 SHIT over-take. Clearly not giving sufficient room (at least 1 metre). Cyclist had to avoid pot-hole..what if they'd sweved or slipped? Blood, broken bones or worse.

00:44 What is this..a two-for-one deal on selfishness regarding NOT entering the ASL? You had plenty of time to stop and stay out of it. What were you trying to do: intentionally impede traffic; nameley the cyclist?

03:14 Again, a horrendous over-take: simply too close, and on an uneven surface. You can literally feel the front of the car cm away from the back wheel.

03:20 What the hell? As if the silver car over-taking wasn't bad enough, we now get the Volvo driver cutting the cyclist up so they can beat them to stationary traffic..again, on an uneven road surface. Not the brake lights on as the driver passes the cyclist. That over-take was aggressive, dangerous, and altogether needless. Funny how the driver gave the vehicles a LOT more room than they gave the cyclist.. I wonder why.

These two idiot drivers are clearly not driving in accordance with the conditions - it's not a race-track, and if they can't or won't respect that fact then really, what other option is there other than for them to re-take a test? No, the design of that road isn't very good and neither is the state of the road surface..hence all the more reason to apply caution especially when you're supposed to be sharing the road with vulernable road users!!

Black Peugeot 206cc, drives like a frickin lunatic, needs to stop rip racing around like a sad boy racer. He's going to seriously injure or kill someone, must think he's in some kind of video game or has been watching too many Fast & Furious movies. God damn chav.

Peak time at supermarket, and parked without any due care or attention. Caused all other cars parked in same row on left hand side to have awful problems getting in and out of their cars - some rather elderly. Try harder next time.

If what you say is true then can I just say, thanks for caring. A lot of people don't. Oh, and that pic..do you have video footage? It's all taken from a dash cam isn't it? I hope justice is served. I've had stuff thrown at me especially when I'm on a push-bike (the last time soaking my clothes and hurting my arm, causing me to almost come off and go under the wheels of another car). Please keep us posted, yeah? Take care.

Driving like a tosser on the M1 northbound tonight: flying up the outside lane constantly flashing his headlights trying to bully people into moving over while he was aggressively driving up towards their rear bumper
