No biggie, easily done and didn't really cut you up. The road markings are a bit shit and to be honest any driver who hadn't used that roundabout before could easily have done the same. Just the way it is.

To be compulsory the arrow has to have the word “TURN LEFT”, “AHEAD ONLY” or “TURN RIGHT” and be backed up by clear signage because road markings are easily obscured by other traffic and bad weather conditions; that’s not to say that ignoring un worded arrows is not bad driving and in some circumstances could constitute Dangerous Driving. Obviously it’s never a good idea to assume a driver is in the correct lane for the exit they will take so care and caution at all road junctions should be the norm.

Is this right? If there are numerals under the arrows, you have to get in lane. If there are only arrows, you can switch? If so then you can see the danger right there, eh?

These arrows are advisory only, he was clearly within your field of vision so I dont see the problem. Highway code advises that this is likely to happen at roundabouts so careful driver would be aware of the possability.

It could have been a mistake but it's still bad driving so worthy of being reported.

Could have been an honest mistake on account of the road layout. Moron drivers usually drive fast and swerve violently..didn't get that impression with this driver mate.

Oh well, painted arrows on the road are only advisory and he didn't cause any harm so why get all huffy about it?
