@ 06:50:18 What are you, a fascist? Your imaginary laws don't mean Jack shit. Or perhaps, are YOU the troll? You blaming driver rage on cyclists riding two-abreast it like you blaming pedestrians for using crossings - again, your laws suck and your writing suggests your only interest here is to twist and turn like some snarly little troll, trying to derail another report just because it has CYCLISTS involved. Abide by the laws of this country, not the one in your head.

So by your logic they ride in the gutter at 18 mph thus doubling the over-taking distance. Keep inventing your own laws and doing some victim blaming along the way. Oh and by the way. It's the responsibility of the driver to over-take safely, not on the cyclists to put themselves at risk and anticipate any impatient desire you may have to get them out their way.. If you can't over-take these cyclists then you can't over-take cars either. Perhaps you should improve your attitude on the road.

YEs, that was a bad pass.
But, there is a difference between what is legal and what is considerate. There is 2.5 minutes of riding two abreast at 18MPH or so in the video (and probably considerably more not on video) without a single glance over their shoulders. I'm a cyclist and I ride double but I also am aware of what is behind me and give drivers a break. We are all road users sharing the same road and need to look out for each other.

Idiots drivers agree but perhaps the law should be changed to STOP! riding abreast as it causes a lot of rage from drivers and to be honest it does cause a lot of aggro on both sides, But guess some other idiot will take everything i said and twist it around as the local trolls or backward fools usually do, Either way the law needs to be changed and that goes for bloody filtering too

Good video. First is over-taking across a junction, too.

Respect to the second driver: nice and wide, doesn't cut back in too early.

I have a photo somewhere that shows two coppers riding two abreast. For some reason the irate driver brigade seemed to pipe down that day. And if they're too thick and arrogant to respect this rule, then should they really be on the road? I mean, do you have to explain to them in simple terms for instance, that riding two abreast greatly reduces the required passing distance? Apparently, you do; least in some cases. Dangerous fools who also seem to think that any passing distance is acceptable -as long as you're not wearing police uniforms..
