At all roundabouts between the M55 and Kirkham this driver didn’t give way to traffic immediately to his right at the roundabout (Mill Farm, Weeton Road, A583). This type of driving is similar to drivers with Ribby Hall Syndrome and I had a gut feeling he might be heading for Ribby Hall Village because of this connection - and he did.
Ribby Hall Syndrome is a measure of arrogance associated with self-importance and showing discourtesy towards others. It can be applied to any such motorist, but I’ve seen too high a frequency with Ribby Hall drivers, so I have connected Ribby Hall with the name for this type of driving generally.
