The caravan man crossed the solid white line to overtake but thinks that was acceptable because he believed you were slightly breaking the speed limit. How do these people’s minds work?
Of course the speed limits for HGVs over 7.5 tonnes were increased a few years ago.
Even if you were exceeding the speed limit, that is no excuse for his dangerous overtake.
I wonder how often he hassles HGV drivers for breaking a speed limit that no longer exists.
