p.s. That cycle lane is atrocious: too narrow and continues onto the roundabout, before stopping without warning, directly on an exit and bend. A recipe for injury or death.. You're better off not using it in order to make yourself more visible and stay OUT of blind spots, and to hopefully deter other road users from cutting you up. Designs like this help neither cyclists nor car, van or lorry drivers (we are all equal and should all share the road respectfully). Designs like this are just another reason cycling infrastructure in this country is often seen as a total farce.

Tailgated an ambulance with blues on, at speed, through heavy traffic on a Saturday afternoon in Leeds city centre. Then proceeded to ram his way back into the stationary traffic. Disgusting driving.
Fortunately ambulances have CCTV on all sides and it's standard practice for them to report tailgating morons to the police.
