"ignorant of Highway code rule 163"
You seem to despise car drivers as much as I despise cyclists on the road. :)
He gave you plenty of room, at no point were you in danger.

Very sorry, I forgot that the only purpose of me coming on here and giving MY opinion was to be liked and accepted by the likes of you.

Also while we are at it Mods could we make it compulsory to register and sign in before commenting?
Too many 'anonymous' keyboard warriors who's tiny brains aren't capable of accepting the fact that others have a different opinion to them so they resort to foul language and abuse.
Remember the golden rule " An anonymous post = an anonymous poster" Thanks for your time.

mods, any chance you can update this site? The trolls are clearly trying their best to stifle debate and there's been countless calls for their hateful, vindictive and spiteful assault on our interests to be curtailed. It's getting to the point where almost every cycle-related report is being stalked by these idiot trollers and all they do is try to argue for arguments sake.. they are clearly not here to make the world a better place. Some of their comments are also aimed at making direct threats to people on here. Thanks for your time.

p.s. I've also seen Rab's other comments on other reports..if it's the same person they're just one big loser/time-waster who possibly isn't getting enough attention on the home-front. Eventually just told to piss off no doubt. Remember this golden rule Rab: very few of us like trolls like you.

My licence states otherwise ........ sorry to disappoint you. :)

What you dont understand is that while I think a lot of cyclists on the road are a nuisance and have massive chips on their shoulders (especially the camera warriors) I do NOT condone killing them.
Prescott (amongst others) goes out of his way to create situations that make drivers look bad.
I do NOT drive like this myself but I can fully understand why other drivers do when they are antagonised by idiots like Prescott.

Rab you clearly don't understand the rules stipulating your driving; the rules you are legally bound by. You Sir, cannot drive.

And I tell you this, Rab/troll. You hate cyclists? Post your reg, Rab.. I dare you. Show us all how big a shit-talking fool you are. Post up a video expressing your discriminatory SHIT online..you want to be the new Ronnie Pickering? Go for it. Fucking imbeciles like you are one the reasons so many cyclists are injured, why so few people feel safe cycling. Your lack of common sense coupled with your hatred means you disagree with the requirements of your license - throw your keys down a drain and fuck off back indoors. The world doesn't need people like you on our roads.

You are clearly one big troll..in this case you try and change the goal-posts and focus your hatred purely on the cyclist. You do read like a book.
Now, you are clearly wrong on your claimed facts.. if you actually understood the Highway Code AND had common sense you'd realise this, but hey, trolls like don't do that do they Rab?
For instance, you'd see in the HC not to over-take through pinch-points like this; that the required passing distance was insufficient. You are either a troll and/or complete moron who can't drive. Still not sinking in? Read up on the vicar that died when a driver did exactly the same here; only this time the Vicar wasn't so lucky and got KILLED. YOU DO NOT OVER-TAKE IN THIS MANNER. Fucking moron.

Being squeezed in a road road refuge, the driver is ignorant of Highway code rule 163. This incident occurred on Preston Old Road A674, Pleasington, Blackburn

If the driver doesn't understand and practice the following then they shouldn't be on the road. They will kill someone.

Yes, squeezed. All respected cycle craft authorities say take primary through pinch points - the car WAS too close, forcing the cyclist dangerously into the curb. The driver should NOT have over-taken through the pinch-point. At this speed they should have stayed behind and given at LEAST 1metre gap. Not only that but the conditions dictate that the cyclist could easily have slipped..do you understand the danger here? No room to escape because this impatient, dangerous driver didn't give a toss about waiting like they're supposed to IN THE HIGHWAY CODE.
