This person doesn't appear to understand how joining a motorway works. They tried to join while I was driving alongside them, eventually slowed down (although could have easily speeded up with the length of the sliproad) and proceeded to join the carriageway approximately one inch behind my car. It was possibly some kind of intimidation technique but actually very dangerous too. Maybe a quick read of the highway code will help them improve.
