This really is the tip of the ice-berg as far as crime goes in Tipton. It's not hard to all to see what's going on there, day or night. Just walk, drive or ride around. The crap's going down all the time and it's got to the point where you think something is wrong if you don't hear the police sirens and helicopters, because that's the norm. I really feel sorry for young decent people because in a place like this..there is very little for them. By the time you find this bike countless more will be stolen. This is the grim reality of life in Tipton, the reality you won't find on spruced-up Twitter feeds..

Just a quick note to say thanks to West Midlands Police for the work they've been doing lately regarding dangerous/illegal use of motor-cycles.

Their efforts have had success but there is still a long way to go (especially with police stations not open). This often hampers operations and intelligence.

So that's where you, the public, come in. You need to be the eyes and ears to what's going on around your area. You need to note certain details and pass them on; either to Crime Stoppers or by contacting your local station. Some stations/forces have Twitter and Facebook accounts..do it anonymously if you prefer. But do it.

It's not "grassing", or anything like that. These scroats are riding these bikes in a highly dangerous, illegal manner - it's only a matter of time before they kill. They have no regard for their own safety or yours. They are menace to the roads and to the ears with their constant joy-riding.

So do something. Take pictures or video. Post it on social media. As long as it's a public space these scroats cannot do anything other than get their scruffy carcasses kicked in line and kicked in jail for assault. A significant proportion of them are also on bike solely to commit robbery.

Note: the police in the West Midlands can now use car-cruising legislation to detain and arrest these dangerous riders. Whilst that doesn't make it easier to stop them it does increase police powers and yes, these powers have been used to good effect.

Likewise, if the powers that be won't give the police requisite resources then your evidence on social media will be a constant reminder to them of the impact their actions are having on the local community and how they are legally bound to serve and protect.

I'll find some links with a few updates. Again, to the local police: thank you very much. The community as a whole is 100% with you on this.

Lots of them choose the left route. I don't give a rat's ass as long as no innocent members of the public are hurt. Society is sick of these scruffy parasitic chavs..

That's right. Forensics. You steal bikes, try to harass people. You cause lots of noise. Ride on pavements like morons. Ride on roads like morons. You endanger lives. You however underestimated the resources available not only to the police but also society as a whole. Anywhere and everywhere you go on stolen bikes you stand a chance of being exposed, caught, and prosecuted - and that includes your little night-time joy-rides when you think the police aren't around.

Well done, WMP. The owners will hopefully get their property back and those responsible dealt with the full length of the law. And if anyone here is under any illusion regarding the problems these people have been causing in this area, then all you need to is read the local press and talk to local people. These morons seek to terrorise society and society is not going to tolerate it. Stay posted for further updates.

Another nice little progress report..

This is from the WMP Twitter feed:

It is from nearby Oldbury, but it does send out a clear message to these chavs.

So bike-riding thieves/chav moron. You think you're better than everyone else and can do what you want? Then when is your "rude awakening" coming?

Oh and check the next post about things you think you might have gotten away with.

Wonder if it's this lot..

It's a common tactic for low-life to use stolen and dangerous motorbikes, there's a lot of it about in Tipton. Watching.

The only good thing about WestMidsPolice is that supposedly they do act upon dashcam recordings in a positive way

The police in that area are at breaking point what with cut-back after cut-back stripping their resources to the core. However they are making best efforts with what they have, to catch those responsible for bike crime; this includes riding illegally and/or dangerously. There's a lot of it about.

They've had a lot of success in recent days, having recovered several stolen bikes and made arrests in the surrounding area. Well done. Let's work together and ensure the bike pictured above belongs back in the hands of its owner. We'll see who's got the biggest gang here.
