Maybe downtown. The problem is, the population density in this country is simply horrendous. There are already over 30 millions cars on the roads. You have areas like Birmingham who's urban sprawl is growing at such a rate that other councils are talking about having to amalgamate their services with the second city, effectively meaning that they too just become one huge, sprawling expansion. You have road systems like the M6, that have mile upon mile of grid-lock. You come off and you have many choked A-roads. You have housing estates that cram a hideous amount of housing into a very small space, for maximum profit. And the future demographic predictions are truly shocking.
I've lived in the States and elsewhere in Europe. Yes, they also have their problems but in my experience unlike they, those problems don't affect you from A to B. In this country these problems are almost non-stop. I agree, it's not racist to look at the logistics of a society forced (yes forced), to accommodate even MORE people into what is unquestionably a small country. Not just through immigration, but the hidden increase aka "natural" birth rates which is basically a way of concealing the sheer number of people having children in the name of their designated God.
You want to see just how over-crowded, and corrupt, this country is? Go to many other countries. See what it's like to get up, go out, afford to buy things and have personal space you can actually value. It's not being selfish. It's being realistic. It's not right that humans - British people - are being forced to live in cages like birds just so corrupt governments and corrupt corporations can continue the status quo. This increased influx all consume. They all have carbon footprints. They all need looking after. And all those obligations were forced, never asked. Forced. You only need go back a few decades and look at the films and documentaries to see the sheer scale of destruction..acre upon acre, destroyed by yet more urban sprawl. I've known people come here from Spain, France, Canada and the States and they only came once because despite traveling to many different parts their overall impression was dire. An expensive, over-crowded, under-funded, inefficient shit-hole run by the most selfish, evil and corrupt people on the face of this earth.

I hear what you say Country Bumpkin but this government is hell-bent on concreting over everything whilst effectively allowing the world and his son to enter the country and/or breed like rabbits in the name of their religion. Tens of millions are going to be added. Decent jobs are scarce especially those that pay livable salaries. Wage stagnation is with us until at least 2019. House prices for decent hard-working people both young and old are through the roof. Grid-lock is rife. All this means that you can find a nice spot in the countryside but you have to sit through miles of grid-lock to get there and before long it's rammed with shitty housing estates. People who complain about are branded racist or little Englanders. I don't mind city life but this government is trying to turn the whole country into a scene out of the film Bladerunner. It is sad to see our countryside destroyed and our historic houses left to rot.. if it wasn't for this government more British people would be able to enjoy and live in the countryside. Sorry to go on like this, I don't mean to bring anyone down or detract from the original complaint. Thanks for reading.

The car may now have a different owner as this incident was a couple of years ago but it was still comical to watch, apart from the damage caused to the other vehicles. I hope the cammer left details on the windscreens of the parked cars but I guess we'll never know.
