What about that tit on the motorbike at the lights trying to blow his 3cc engine up by revving the bullocks off it? How annoying.

I have to agree with the comments on lack of infrastructure and other remarks .
Where I live used to be a small village surrounded by farms and associated businesses like transport companies, markets, factories, agricultural engineers and the like.
Some of these same farmers who always seem to be pleading poverty but can afford to send their kids to public schools, drive expensive cars and live in huge house's, them and their pals have now turned property developer, they are turning villages and good farmland into huge housing estates, (partly to dump the social housing renters from cities like London so city developers can rent their houses out for even higher rents. In addition, how are we supposed to feed an ever growing population by building on farmland, we already import 60% of our food. A number of these rural farmers/landowners are Councillors and sit on planning committees. Not only are they helping to destroy our heritage and countryside for some easy bucks but are building on class A agricultural land which unlike brownfield is uncontaminated and therefor cheaper to develop than brownfield sites that usually have a high clean up cost from previous so that eats into the profit margin.
My point, These housing developments some on flood plains have No infrastructure,no schools, no shops, no doctors, narrow potholed B roads and no bus service or even decent broadband plus no local employment. The nearest amenities are at least 5 or more miles away from these thousands of houses so cars are a must to get to work (if you can find a job, no industry either) or to the new out of town retail park, cinema or eatery all designed for car users.
Good luck to any brave souls that attempt to cycle on the non ungraded country roads now overburdened with commuter traffic, National speed limits still in place so loads of accidents and road closures.
The whole country has and still is built around vehicle use because motorists pay lots of money into the treasury and to councils by way of tolls, VED, fuel, parking and even fines and in return get criticized for the pollution, too much traffic congestion or even for being overweight and unhealthy due to no exercise. You name it, its always our fault, Time for us to change things, A good start is to get ownership of our country back, then get a fairer voting system by way of proportional representation, followed by electing non career MP's that work for us instead of instructing us on how to live. Take back control our utilities and infrastructure so we can rebuild our country and help local business instead of the current huge foreign owned corporations.
We were once the envy of the world, then we allowed ourselves to be sold out for a handful of beans so the top 1% could get a nice little earner at our expense.
I would love to be able to walk or cycle to a local job or the shops but these days that's may only be possible if you live and work in a city, and if you could afford the high rent, house price's. and council tax.
We are brainwashed cowardly mugs who feel safety in being told what to do and when to do it by a manipulative state, most have been born and raised with it so are in a permanent politically correct condition of denial and unaware that Britain's society was far friendlier and safer 50 years ago and a lot less crowded.
Its no wonder people are so highly stressed and angry and want a fight a fellow human because of a mistake or error of judgement.
Let us all have the courage to change ourselves, each other and our nation.
Ranting over.

@ 1:33 Mr Plod is sounding his horn whilst his target cyclist is still moving off from stationary IN the 'cycle super highway' lane

What a prick!

WoW

Mr Policeman - my advice to you is give up your job. In most instances of dangerous driving the police fail to take action and here we are with this numpty who feels he's upholding the law

wtf - you are wrong PC Plod and I hope your Chief Inspector has a word in your empty head so that it rattles around for the next 10 years or so to constantly remind you

Have you got footage prior to when you first stopped? Apparently you're saying the cop shouted ""get in the cycle lane".. just interested to know why you think they said that. I don't see that lane as being mandatory (someone please correct me if I'm wrong and accept my apologies).

Also, I disagree with the accusation that the cyclist was pulled over for not using the CSH; rather, he appeared to be pulled over on account of the cop accusing him of dangerous cycling (weaving in and out of the highway whilst the lane to his right was occupied). Also shows that you do not have to give your name if you are not being detained or arrested (hence the reason why you should ask if you think you are being treated unlawfully). If you are not being detained or under arrest, you are free to leave. One thing I think in all these video's though.. our roads are really messed up, even with cycle infrastructure. Such a small nation (England), with such a huge - and growing - population.. it's a recipe for disaster. Our politicians do not answer to the needs of commuters they answer to the needs of big business getting rich off the backs of grid-lock, and forcing people to use cars rather than encourage them to consider alternate modes or transport. Even public transport is often slow, dirty and unsafe (CCTV is only useful after the event). Just how can you even begin to fix such a broken, corrupt form of rule? Well some have argued that we should all vote on our feet and get rid of two things: 1) the EU, and 2) the self-serving clowns destroying us from within: Whitehall.

I actually think the cop's heart is in the right place (looking out for public safety and trying to ensure cyclists don't get hurt). I just don't so much agree with the way he went about it..
