Vehicle: Red Volkswagen Golf
Date: 29th September 2015, 6:15pm
Road: A3 (Southbound), Nr. Petersfield

This guy was trundling along at a ridiculous 45MPH on the A3, 0.5 miles south from the Ham Barn roundabout, apparently looking for people to aggrivate. He had already had ages to speed up, the road ahead was clear, and I was directly behind. Then, you guessed it, as soon I started to overtake him, this suddenly woke him up. He decided my overtaking maneouver was a 'race'. 50MPH passed, then 60MPH, and finally got to 70MPH -- and he was only slightly behind. He wasn't even close to doing 45MPH any more, which means this acceleration was a deliberate attempt to stitch another driver up. This is the worst case (of this kind of attitude) I've seen in about 12 years of driving.

I had actually got past him at this point, so I pulled into the slow lane. He subsequently tailgated me for another 0.5 miles (at 70MPH), and then shot past well beyond the speed limit.

Utterly careless and a total disregard for other people who use the public highway.
