I was indicating right because i was turning right at the roundabout...? and then when i passed the previous junction, i indicated left, as per highway code, to show that i was exiting the roundabout.

i am a little confused by this mate... is this a 1 lane or 2 lane roundabout?
if it were a 2 lane roundabout, then in my books he's in the clear for pulling out there. but if it's just a 1 lane roundabout, then he's in the wrong for sure. either way, definitely a bit oblivious...
