On Blackpool Promenade at Chapel Street junction traffic lights. In busy periods there is a tailback of about 20 to 40 cars travelling north. Most drivers patiently and correctly get into the (left hand) straight ahead lane, and wait their turn; however there is almost always one smart-arsed selfish knob-head who gets into the right turn only lane, then either blasts off, pushes back in, or both. This woman is one of them
I then noticed she was using her mobile phone, presumably texting, This is illegal, and is now worth 6 penalty points plus a fine, but a large minority of drivers still do it, particularly at traffic lights, under the smug presumption that nobody else can see them. It is stupid, ignorant, selfish and dangerous.
