You were riding very aggresively including tail-gating and swerving near him as you under-took. IF that car had to brake you would have had next to NO THINKING DISTANCE. Or put it another way: a car or bike that close to your rear wouldn't cause you alarm? Put you and the person behind you at risk, as well as other road users? You end up on that floor and it's going to hurt. A lot.
As for the passenger's actions. It looks like premeditated assault.
Please, look at your own actions not just other people's and you will hopefully learn something and live longer. This is NOT a threat - riding the way you do mate raises your risk of serious injury or worse ten-fold.
