Went to Sainsbury's petrol station, Caldy Valley Rd, Chester, there are 2 ways in, on off the road, which I use, and one from the supermarket car park. Watch from about 6 to 8 seconds, in particular, watch the driver of the Mazda, who does not look to the side at all. I had a word when we got to the pumps, saying "it might be an idea to check it's safe to just drive in!" His response was "yeah, I've never really been sure who has right of way there" - Really? If so, might be an idea to assume it's not you, as the junction is signed to point out you are moving from the car park to the petrol station forecourt, plus there is "No entry" written to stop people going the other way, which by implication, means it's a junction. His whole attitude was very blasé and passive aggressive. If he'd accepted he might be advised to at least LOOK to the side in future (esp. as the petrol tanker is located there refilling the ground tanks!) I'd have left it there, but he didn't, so here we are. Guessing he's local, given his comments, so I may see him again!
