Yesterday (between 10 and 10:30am) a large five axle articulated truck (registration plate EN62 UYZ) turned off New Kings Road SW6 onto Linver Road (a small side road lined with cherry trees) and apparently attempted to reverse into a roadside parking space. In doing so it caused extensive damage to one of the street trees at the roadside. A number of branches were left hanging off and were then being stuck by vehicles as they drove past.
