I do a lot of work around wellingborough / wilby - me & the boys will be keeping an eye out for this evoque so we can have a little word.
In the meantime please keep shopping at sainsburys & don't worry about a single thing. If you see the driver again then tell him that your 6ft 5in gypsy friend wants a word with him & report him to supermarket security.
I had the most awful experience in nearly 60 years of driving and having spoken to my neighbour they kindly suggested that I should write about the ordeal on this website.
My 90 year old disabled mother in law and myself were driving to Sainsbury's in Wellingborough. Between Mears Ashby and Wilby, a black land rover with the registration F5JCD overtook us in the most aggressive manner. I was driving at 50pmh however I presumed they may have been attending to an emergency.
When we arrived at Sainsbury's this black land rover (F5JCD) had taken the last disabled space and a young man was exiting the vehicle.
I politely enquired as to whether the man was disabled as I thought he may have made a mistake and would be generous enough to allow two old ladies with a blue badge to park in the disabled bay as getting Mildred's wheelchair out of the car in a normal parking space and wheeling it across the car park can be exhausting.
I was met with foul language, the like of which I have never heard before. His eyes were bulging with anger and he told us it was our fault that we were crippled. He then said that if we ever annoyed him again then we would be sorry.
I burst into tears as I thought he was going to physically assault us and Mildred was begging me to drive away. I left as fast as I could however we had to loop around the car park before we could exit. Mildred noted down the registration when we passed by the vehicle for a second time.
We are two elderly ladies with no family to rely on for shopping and are now too frightened to go back to this store in case we see this driver again.
If the driver is reading this then I would like to just say that I am ever so sorry for upsetting you and that we meant no offence nor do we wish to cause you any trouble.
Enid, please do not apologise to this pathetic fleshwaste. You did absolutely nothing wrong. He is simply a buffoon who gets his jollies by verbally abusing old ladies. Pay him no more heed and carry on with your life.
but... but... Prince Philip's car !!
