I assume the first overtake was on a 60 mph road. The second overtake was on a 50 mph as per sign and road marks. Is not clear if the camera driver was going below the speed limit.

Could anyone approximate the alleged speed using Google Maps? Perhaps they know this road and can measure the distance together with the time it takes them to cover it = known speed. Thanks for any help.

If you watch the video again other vehicles seem to be doing similar speeds

Yes only the police with their speed guns can determine driving too fast but for me the evidence is there

1st video
Driver overtakes the next vehicle as well as dashcam vehicle
2nd video
It's raining - as per the Highway Code Rule 227

FD14OWA - I thought at first this person was just in a hurry to get home one night, but the following evening he did exactly the same again in almost the same place - so a speeding yokel...

@27secs there's a 50mph limit sign

I assume boy racer must be in a hurry every night ?

Let's hope they wrap themselves around a tree without causing injury to any innocent person or hopefully but not expected PC Plod will park up somewhere or follow in an unmarked car

This is why I have grown to HATE driving in Britain. Even when you get out the cities you often end up seeing pricks like the driver in question..you can barely enjoy the scenery without someone climbing up your arse, trying to force you out the way. It seems a world away from the place I knew a few decades ago..it wasn't perfect then, but at the same time there wasn't such a high population (and thus higher proportion of people who appear eager to kill themself and everyone else for the sake of their own selfish attitude).

Just to be clear. What is the speed limit in this video? I can see signs but my phone screen is very small. Thanks.
