Me personally, I do not see this as the crime of the century. The lanes are advisory and the speeds were fairly slow. I have seen a lot worse (especially ASDA and Tesco car parks for some reason).
But again, it doesn't justify hitting someone making a complaint, and if you do that then you stand a good chance of ending up with a criminal record. If you are under threat then fine, no problem, but that clearly was not the case here.

In my experience driving instructors are some of the worst red light jumpers, tail-gaters and inconsiderate drivers around, with the exception of taxi drivers.

Yes it could be private land some would say (Victoria Retail Park (B&Q), Netherfield, Nottingham but doesn't bode well for learner drivers and look good for his employer.
