Northumbria Police have already said they will not accept dashcam footage at the moment unless its requested by a police officer as witness material.
Persoonally, I think if the footage is clear, showing the offence and the registration plates without obstruction and is unedited, the it should be able to be sent to the police. In this day and age when force numbers are being cut, surely this helps them.

This Audi A3 Reg FG07 NGU forced it's way down a NO ENTRY just so they could miss the traffic lights at Darlington St Wigan to go towards Lower Ince. this happened on the 6/Sept/2017 at 10:21am. Obvious from the photo it is a no entry. just an idiot trying it on.

Most police forces will not take action unless they see the incident themselves and with our police forces being consistently cut the probability of these issues being caught are almost as rare as finding a BK burger in a McD restaurant.
The only benefit from this site is the people that use it regularly to vote - eventually if enough regular people begin to see and vote then social media and news media may shame some of these bad drivers.
My wish is that the whole of the UK follows that of the Welsh Police who will accept dashcam footage as evidence.
