No denying the other driver was an idiot, but it's important to remember to keep left unless overtaking. Hogging lane three means you can only legally be overtaken in lane four, which can cause frustration for other drivers when they can see lanes one and two are empty for hundreds of yards.

Not trying to justify the actions of the Toyota driver at all, but if you keep left unless overtaking in future I can guarantee this will not happen to you again.
