And this "defies common sense" rhetoric.. you do realise his position is the advised (and legal) position? How is it defying common sense to say it's bad idea to try and fit a vehicle and the cam guy in the same lane? It's in the Highway Code.

The driver could have crossed the white line IF a) the person in front was going 10 mph or slower, and b) It was safe to over-take. Clear it wasn't. Even if the person in front had been near the curb, there would simply not have been enough room to SAFELY pass them and avoid oncoming traffic. And I also hope the driver is prosecuted for this. Fortunately most drivers aren't as pig-headed and dangerous as them..

This Muppet has a history of antagonising drivers. He was charged in 2001 for causing criminal damage to a car that he was obstructing. He noted at the time it was the second time he had been arrested for something similar. Hmm, see a pattern? He is just an active militant determined to demonstrate that it is his right to do something even if it defies common sense. That is my personal opinion.
