Location: B2110 - Paddockhurst Rd
Road Conditions: Wet
Weather Conditions: Dry / Windy
Traffic: Heavier than normal (Due to two earlier incidences)
Specified road speed limit: 50mph (with caution warnings on bends)
Whilst travelling at a speed of 44mph and accelerating the vehicle (FH12 YGT) performed an necessary overtaking manoeuvre. As it [FH12 YGT] pulled in front of my vehicle I flashed my lights, at which point the vehicle [FH12 YGT] hard-braked, slowed to 30mph (speed limit 50mph), and switched on it's rear fog-lights.The vehicle continued to drive at the slower speed with it's rear fog-lights for a further 1.5miles until it approached queuing traffic, at which point the driver switched off their fog-lights and joined the queuing traffic... It's unclear why the driver should perform such a stunt but any driver who thinks this behaviour is acceptable should not be allowed on the road.
