I don't think I'm a gypsy although my family history shows that some lived in caravans but on a big circus/travelling fun fair and I'm 1/4 Irish
But I'm more offended by the phrase "bastard"
I got 3 dads, my dad, the ice cream man and the Findus rep
It's a long story but the basics are that my mother (the slag also known as the Apollo (soft drinks) bike) was caught by 2 uncles and mty dad on a sofa with another man in a house. I don't know for sure but I think that might of been the Findus rep ;)
What about the ice cream man I hear you say
Well for reasons unknown (yes sure) we were getting free or cheap ice cream from the Mr Softee that came round daily when we were very young
Now when I say reasons unknown I need to add what ice cream man do you know that comes around daily and gives out free/cheap stuff? Maybe it was Mr Whippy and it was his own cream being pumped? I feel sick now

If you read the above it was reported to Ashfield District Council (& Chesterfield because of the area).
It's in hand and I assume from the wording the danger has been recognised.
I have to pay my respects to an council that knows what it's supposed to do and in this instance is efficient.

Sorry i cannot display my full name but be reassured i do work with GOV UK
I was quite suprised to have witnessed what you had captured on your camera of this really offensive Taxi driver
It sounds as if he called you a Gypsy B****** and that in itself is an offence
Road rage is illegal in the UK and is punishable in severe cases of a prison sentence
I was happy to hear that a member of the public has actually come forward and reporting such incidents as this as it helps in keeping a record of these drivers on file if there we're to be court action against this driver and so on
Hopefully your local council will deal with this in the way the see fit
I work in a different deptartment but what i can reassure you is this, I will pass on this video to a department within my building that deals with these type of complaints and even so its out of our jurisdiction thats does'nt say we will ignore this incident
What we will do is contact your local council and inform them that we are aware of this incident and inform them that we have also passed this video on to local police and hopefully this will make your council act that little bit quicker, But all councils are pretty good at what they do so please have faith in them
I hope this matter has a positive and acceptable result for all parties

He accelerates into left lane stopping me from moving over
He then begins to tailgate me (watch me check my mirrors)
At traffic lights I tell him he's going to be reported
He's still mouthing off
Then he jumps the red light to continue with his rage.
Big thank you to Ashfield District Council Taxi Licensing Team who have reviewed said footage and gave the following reply
"The overtake was not just unacceptable but in light of the location of the traffic island extremely dangerous.
The driving through the red light itself was an offence, and the language was completely out of order. This driver is expected to represent a professional trade, and has been licensed by us to be a safe, responsible carrier of fare paying passengers.
The likelihood is that the evidence that you provided will form part of a report to review this drivers suitability to continue to hold a licence."
And to add - Ashfield District Council will continue to investigate and question the driver then put their findings to a sub-committee to make the final decision.
In all likely hood I believe Ashfield District Council will make the right decision and if that means revoking his taxi licence that'll be good for fare paying passengers but sadly will not prevent this muppet from holding a driving licence without further training but it's worthwhile to note that Ashfield District Council are pro-active in ensuring., where possible, taxi drivers are responsible for their actions.
