This photo is apparently of the Porsche, Lotus and Mustang used in the Top Gear Patagonia Special after being crushed by Argentinian authorities in 2017. You can't really tell what is or what was the Porsche but the red and green of the Mustang and Lotus is visible.

Right. Here's what's happened. When they were looking for cars, Jeremy wanted a 928 GT. They are quite rare. There were only 2 for sale in the UK. One was it very good condition and one not so much. The crew brought the one in good nick. They were made aware of the plate when they arrived in Argentina but couldnt do anything (cant just change a plate). When they were mobbed, they ripped the back numberplate off (seeming that the front one had fallen off during filming) and discovered a old personal plate from the cars previous owner (before the car dealer that sold them the 928). They left that on and skedaddled. The cars were getting hounded though, smashed windscreens and lights, it was hopeless. They were ditched and the crew went on. The cars were then taken to a lock up in tierra del Fuego, until 2017 (apparently) when they were crushed, shredded and compacted.

James said it was the only one of the exact model they could find in an interview with Absolute Radio. They immediately noticed the plate and tried to get it changed but couldn't do so in time. Jeremy said in the episode that the car was the exact same model he used to get to the hospital before his dad died so he had a huge amount of respect for it.
Still funny nonetheless.

One that was in bad condition, the other being the polar opposite. They bought the good condition one. They simply cant just change the numberplate or put a different one on it as it would be illegal.
