Best thing to do in situations like this is stay in primary. Every time you moved left the (selfish and dangerous) driver assumed it was OK to pass, despite not having the requisite passing distance. Yet several times, they attempted to occupy the same lane..if someone keeps doing that then like I said take primary and also wobble to give them a little "wake up" call.. you run into me, I'm going to run into you precious car.
It may shock them to know but you are fully entitled to use all of that lane, and it's right, you have the same rights. They have no right to treat you like shit and risk your life just because your carriage is different. Don't like it don't drive..but don't use your car to try and bully and intimidate other people. None of any complaint you would make to the police would work.. in fact.. as stated.. all it would do is highlight your utter incompetence. Go back to driving school..

What a dangerous idiot of a driver. Just to point out.. it's not for you to justify the reasons why you don't use that cycle lane; rather, it's for them to accept it and behave. If that's too hard then the solution for them is quite clear: stay off the roads..they'll be that much safer for it dear.
