The bus company will win in 98% of situations. If a collision takes place, the insurance company will very nearly always side with the bus company, whatever the situation. Never argue with buses or bus drivers. If you do, you'll be set to lose your no claims and see your premiums rise.
Oh, and if the bus driver had pushed the car out of the way with the bus. He still would have won. The law says give way to buses.

What a twat the Ford Focus driver is. The bus had right of way, as can be seen from the road markings (the Highway Code also stated that drivers should give way to buses anyway) but even if this want the case, bus drivers are not allowed to reverse buses without assistance. Regardless of any of the facts I've just written, there is plenty of space for the car to quickly pull in anyway, whereas there are three buses waiting in the other direction. Some people really are bloody selfish.

The mark 1 Ford Focus was rated as having the best handling capabilities and road manners because Ford already calculated that their customers will be total retards and cannot drive anything with wheels on it. Ford made it the easiest family car to drive and they still can't drive it right. And as for Focuses being decent cars Ford built them like the pile of shit that they are and they didn't even bother to rust proof the corpses. If I was the bus driver I would have hit it and that would have taken another piece of shit off the roads.

Had a few classics like this on my routes too. Whizzed round a 693 Stretch Volvo at Fairfax court on 'The Three' and had a pair of tossers nearly smash me head on coming out of that small Crescent at the side of Hinkler at the 20mph road humps speeding out of it without looking or stopping then turning straight into my path. Yelling abuse at me but I didn't reverse and they had to go back and that was a Ford Focus MkI. The cars are owned by self righteous no-brainers!!!
