Looking at the photo I'm guessing there were other spaces (and you obviously parked). Just take a deep breath and walk away.
They were not going to apologise and move for you.
Confrontation in situations like this will more likely get you stabbed than anything else nowadays.

I guess some people are just like that.. they think they can do what they like and when their actions are brought to book they throw their rattle out the pram. The only thing I would say is.. how were they approached? I am always aiming to be polite, at least then you know you tried your best and can seize the moral high-ground. I do this a lot where I live as a lot of people are just ass-holes who deserve to be in a mental institution.. fuck 'em.

Rude person entering ASDA carpark section wrong direction (per arrows) and pulling into TWO spaces, of which I was waiting to reverse into one of them. I ask what she is doing and she just says 'Shut Up'.
