Review your footage! You're sat in the middle lane and never move from it, even when there was room in the near side lane after passing the dark people carrier! You are the problem and you are the reason people undertake and I'd have done exactly the same to you. People like you are a menace to others on the road as you're inconsiderate and oblivious to other traffic around you. Then you have the nerve to complain about other drivers who you've been holding up!
Wake up, look around you and move out of the middle lane. It's not a lane to cruise in. Dick.......

Quote Sidjames: "you know as well as I do that this guy would sit in the middle lane if there was nothing on the road. "
Erm, no we don't. Try dealing with the facts presented instead of going off on a tangent into the realm of speculative flights of fancy..

You're making assumptions and excuses for this guy. Sure there are stopping distances and merging lanes to take account of, but you know as well as I do that this guy would sit in the middle lane if there was nothing on the road. There are hundreds of thousands of people just like him. I see them every time I'm on the motorway, fuck all in the inside or outside lane and they're just bumbling along in their own little world! Usually hunched right up to the wheel with both hands at 12 o'clock, transfixed on the road ahead. Flashing won't move them, undertaking won't budge them. Arrogant, stupid and dangerous!

1) check the speed displayed. It is showing around 66/67mph on the GPS. Allowing for the fact that a car speedo can legally over read by up to 10% it would have been displaying about 70mph so as far as the driver is concerned he is driving at the speed limit.
2) braking distance. The driver is keeping a safe braking distance from the vehicles in front of him.
This works two ways, if he pulled back into the adjacent lane, would he be cutting in front of the vehicle he has just overtaken? And losing their braking distance?
I hate drivers that "hedge hop" ie overtake a car, cut in with no braking distance, then ten seconds later pull out again to overtake the vehicle they are rapidly closing in on.
Camera car was travelling at the speed limit, steadily overtaking vehicles, whilst being overtaken by vehicles in the outside lane.
3) this was on top of a major motorway junction. Yes ther was room to move back in having overtaken the people carrier but he would have been alongside the artic with traffic about to join from the merging onslip. What if vehicles wanted to move straight over forcing vehicles already in the lane to move over? At least by staying out till he cleared the junction he had both vision and room to move.
4) KC03EYU was driving like a complete idiot. Well above the speed limit and must have thought he was driving a stock car.
Swerving amongst fast moving traffic only to cut across in order to come off on the slip road.
Do you really condone driving like that? Do you really consider that sensible and safe? Do you drive like that all the time?

The guy was weaving through traffic much faster than the speed limit.
