Hi Sophia, sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. At least the reg is now public so that people (including the police) can be aware of any potential problems with this driver. I just hope someone has a camera at hand and uploads the foul-mouthed runt to a video hosting site. If they do it again, lock the doors, leave the horn blasting and call the police. Take care.

Thank you so much for replying-I very much appreciate it. Thank you for your advice too. Unfortunately at the time I just froze and didn't think about the idea of blasting the horn. The area regularly sees speeding drivers at both the school and the local Scout Hut. There was also a hit and run incident there recently, where a parent was knocked over and ended up with head injuries, despite being on the pavement at the time. I am certain that it will be a matter of time before someone, mostly likely a child is killed.

My young son and I were chased by the driver of this car and verbally abused in a completely unprovoked attack on our morning school run in Nettleham, Lincolnshire. Once we'd reached school, the driver actually stopped his car, shouted 'f****** wanker' amongst other obscenities (whilst he could clearly see my 8 year old son sitting in the front seat of the car) and drove off. I have no idea why the driver was so aggressive but I'm guessing it was sheer impatience-this was in a 20mph zone and he was speeding and extremely close to the back of my car the entire time. The experience was very frightening and I am convinced that a child could easily be knocked down by such recklessness, as well as being traumatised by the verbal abuse, when other drivers are driving safely and within speed limits, in consideration for the safety of themselves and others.
