I think he mistook your horn for letting him in. The driver in the red car also appears too close (hence the car lurching under heavy braking at the last moment). That's what happens when you don't leave enough of a gap between yourself and the vehicle (cyclist) in front..

The police response is just pathetic. The driver doesn't have to physically hit you to be found guilty. Hell, how clear does it need to be: you can see him over-taking them stopping, forcing you into the back of him; whether or not you hit him is irrelevant. He clearly isn't complying with the "road traffic laws" - would he pass a test doing this? Would a police car be allowed to do this? Would a police car stop a civilian car doing this? I think there is a reasonable expectation of justice here and the response is everything but. Well I will personally tell you this: APC is blacklisted from my choice of courier - I don't need people like you putting lives at risk. We no longer wish to use your services in any capacity and have already found alternatives - all of which care for the welfare of others and several of whom have openly stated they would NOT tolerate this driver's behaviour. Again, to point out to any wannabe gangsters out there who think they can drive how they like: there does not have to be a collision for your to be found culpable. Furthermore should you be filmed doing it, look up the 'Streisand Effect' - as certain entities don't seem to understand, this isn't the last century and the more you try to suppress wrong-doing the more likely people will call you out on it. Welcome to the wonderful world of social media, I might imagine. Drive safely.
