As long as the cyclist was unhurt, it's a pity contact wasn't made. I say that because that driver needs prosecuting.

See the down-voting club (Sid James' proxy?!) has been busy. Oh, and the classic giveaway: no comments, just down votes.. a fire-and-forget policy. Haterz gonna hate, and trolls gonna troll. Maybe they're hissing mad like a snake named Sid, for being banned off You Tube for their abuse! ;)))

$hit job of road positioning by the cyclist beforehand.
At least the car driver is indicating and making his intentions known, at what point was the cylcist going to signal??

You do not over-take through pedestrian islands. You do not over-take at junctions. As mentioned you give cyclists room. Even if the cyclist was going left, it still wouldn't be safe or legal to over-take. Some of your haters really are fucked in the head..

What are you talking about? "$hit job of road positioning by the cyclist beforehand." The cyclist was doing nothing wrong. You do not over-take through pedestrian islands. Plain and simple and irrespective of whether you're indicating. Have you actually passed a test? That attitude would certainly fail you on one..

Would YOU do this to a car? Then you don't do it to a bike - you give the bike at LEAST as much room as you would a car. The driver here is entirely at fault.

Here it is in PLAIN English: Do NOT over-take on a junction. Give cyclists room.

You're just trying to blame the victim. The fact is, REGARDLESS of the cyclist's position or signaling, the driver should NOT - NOT - be over-taking there. Is that so HARD for you to comprehend? And an indicator is ONLY a declaration of intent; it's not an automatic right. Don't just take my word for it - check your copy of the Highway Code.

Great job of left-hooking a cyclist.
