Doesn't matter if it's a funeral or a school or almost anything else (except if you was assisting at an accident whilst waiting for emergency services) you don't park on a pavement.
One day when you are old a frail (or after a major accident) and you need a mobility scooter to gt from A to B and you can't because some selfish inconsiderate dickhead has parked their car blocking the pavement then you might accept that karma is a bitch.
Pavements are for pedestrians and any person who has their right of access/passage blocked can call the police and get the vehicle removed/towed.
