Irresponsible driver hit my vehicle whilst I was waiting to turn, he dented the rear left quarter panel of my car causing £800 worth of damage.
He then decided not to stop and drive off at speed, I caught up with him to make sure I had his number plate, traffic caused him to slow down, I put my window down and told him to pull over and swap details, his reply was “fuck off” he then put his foot down and drove off.
After pulling his insurance details from the MID I contacted his insurance and reported the hit and run accident, More Than then had to get in contact with the driver, they sent letters and he didn’t reply for almost a month but surprisingly the same week that Greater Manchester Police got involved he suddenly replies.
Anyway obviously he’s saying it didn’t happen, it wasn’t him, he wasn’t in the area at that time all the usual lying crap.
The GMP road traffic collision unit is investigating and I’m now getting the drivers personal information from the DVLA through a V888 request which I intend to use to go to court.
Some people like this guy are just very irresponsible, he won’t take responsibility for his actions, he could of just pulled over and resolved this directly but nope he had to run away like a little pussy.
