Any updates? It would be nice to hear a response. It worries me to think of the potential for certain types of people prowling around school gates and I'm not accusing anyone; rather it's better to be safe than sorry. So many reports on this website never get answered, updated or resolved. Thank you for any input you can provide.

"don't bark bark" * Don't "bark" back. It's what they want. Don't enter into any kind of verbal jousting. Keep your distance. If you have to make a citizen's arrest just tell them why. I'm saying this because the law is often an ass in this country and criminals know exactly how to exploit it.

Thanks for report. Hope this has been reported to the police. How were they challenged? I would urge everyone to get a camera ready and be vigilant. Do you recognise the children they were talking to? Perhaps the school could arrange a meeting with them and their parents as a first port of call? Is there CCTV footage? Multiple witnesses? Do the "Payne's" know these children..are they related? I'm just speculating, but it's better to be safe than sorry and thanks for caring.
And please, if the Paynes or whoever they want to call themselves this week turn nasty, don't bark bark - but be prepared to bite. Know what I mean mate? Don't give them an avenue because statistically people like that..people making threats..will use it. You have to stay on the right side of the law even if they don't..and I guarantee you this: it will make them angrier than ever before because they are not getting what they want.

Wells, Somerset. 2 separate drivers have been seen driving alongside junior school children but drives off when an adult intervenes. Car has been spotted parked in Balch Road, using the local Tesco in. Other Wells and Shepton Mallet.
When I challenged the younger driver I was told 'do you know who I am? Who my family is? The Payne's, if your from around here you'd know. F**k off or I'll get my Dad to pay you a visit' Scary! Or mentally challenged. My wife wouldn't let me get out and destroy the little turd sadly.
Either way, if you know 'the Payne's', keep your kids away.
If you see this car near a school or with kids in, for gods sakes contact the local police.
