Range Rover driver is a dick and needs to retake their driving test
But I must agree with one or two on here regarding the parents responsibility for safety and this comment goes further than the helmet issue
If I'm not mistaken at 0.08 secs there's a cycle path - I assume (note the word assume) the council has provided this as it's a narrow road and previous accidents had probably occurred. Now this is speculation (as per the assumption) and yes it's the road users choice whether to use a cycle path or not
But ffs you've got a young inexperienced child on a bike without any safety gear and not being taught how to use cycle paths for safer riding.

I won't deny the fact the Range Rover was a prick, way too close and I even cringed, but the fact the CHILD, has no helmet is a disgrace. I hate road cyclists, but to put there children at risk is beyond me. Putting a child's life in the hands of appeasers, racers, drink drivers, drug drivers, non insured, it is beyond reckless.

Only thing is many people have seen it so many times it's older than stale bread and hence very easy to spot. The FACT IS, that driver should NEVER have over-took there; they risked the life of both cyclists just so they could barge past. Don't agree? Then re-take your driving test (assuming you drive), because the hazards in this video are blindingly obvious and yet you completely ignore them in favor our trying to launch some crappy, bitter affront against two people riding legally on bikes. The simple fact is that the driver of the Range Rover behaved appallingly. An eight year old girl has as much right to use the road as anyone else, and to be given the leeway needed for safe passing. But, I agree, a helmet would have been a good idea. Parent must have had one to carry the head-cam.
