You purposely speed up to stop them from overtaking.

If they want to drive like idiots let them go passed and carry on. If they had collided head on into another vehicle YOUR driving would have been a contributing factor.

I hope you have taken this to the Police and recieved the caution you deserve.

As for calling it a knackered old transit, have you listened to the poor farty sound your car makes when you accelerate?

Last MOT test number: 6 November 2015
The last MOT test number: 4590 0797 5947
Mileage at the last MOT: 109,313 miles

Were the passenger and driver wearing seat-belts as they passed? Guess it's easier to commit criminal damage without one.

Rab, they "got out" earlier than you implied - they swung their door open. Furthermore did they stop to exchange details after the collision? If not then they have committed an offense. Same for having a knackered MOT whilst driving..

I agree you did speed up uploader but at the same time the law is the law and we are told never to get out of our motors, One funny thing came of this is when the dick heads caught sight of the dash cam as that scared the shit out of them, Both parties are a pair of knobs

I think this is one of those cases where a rear view camera could come in real handy. But some aren't cheap eh, especially the good one's. Anyone know of any decent setups for a good price (front/back)?

To be honest I don't see anyone stalking you at all. Quite the opposite; I am finding you highly contentious, and argumentative.

....... because it has already been mentioned perhaps?

Both vehicles are wrecks, it doesn't excuse the camera warriors driving though.

Ron, Where did I say the van did nothing wrong at all?

If the van driver ants to speed / overtake / drive with no MOT it's HIS problem.

This incident could have been avoided by the camera car NOT speeding up when the van tried to overtake. (surely even you can see that??)

The occupants of the van only got out because to tried to stop them overtaking.

RAB thinks the van did nothing wrong at all?

It's up to the overtaking vehicle lento make sure it's safe to overtake.

The van had no MOT, so it could be considered knackered.

The occupants of the van got out and approached the driver in an intimidating manor which is unacceptable and also means they can't have been in a rush so why overtake in the first place.

Rab does appear to be somewhat of a troll. They openly side with 'SidJames', a known troll/time-waster/weirdo. Their posts follow the same pattern (i.e. confrontational, selective memory etc etc). Like you say nobody saw what was happening behind you - even if you made a mistake it still doesn't justify their actions - which if you'll notice Rab conveniently avoids in favour of trying to play victim blaming. Well, what better do you expect from these trolls..

It would appear the Transit has no valid MOT.. how come you didn't mention that, Rab?

You can't see what the van was doing off camera sitting on the wrong side of the road and right up my arse. Clearly you're a troll, if you're a cop leave your collar number and force details I'll call you tomorrow.

You left a massive gap so the van then tried to overtake when it was clear.
You accelerate hard to stop them overtaking and force them into oncoming traffic.
Just out of interest what police force did you report it to?
I'll check with my colleagues to get an update for you.

If I wanted to stop them from overtaking I'd have driven up the arse of the car in front like some other idiots do, instead I left a normal safe gap. The idiots pulled on the wrong side of the road without overtaking after having driven inches from my rear bumper, I was trying to get away from them.

I'd just left work & had been driving maybe 100 yards before a pair of chimps in a knackered old transit (MOT expired 14th Nov 2016 according to https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk...) decided slowing for the 30mph and slower moving traffic was not what they wanted to do. Van was driven right up my arse as I decelerated for the 30's, then started driving on the opposite side of the road without overtaking.
Knowing there is an entrance a little further on the right & also another one on the left where dozens of cars are trying to exit, I increased speed to close the gap between the car in front so the van could tow in behind me again.

Instead the van overtook with oncoming traffic, causing the driver of an oncoming van to reduce speed sharply & as the van overtook, the passenger opened the door and smashed the offside door mirror of my car.

About 100 yards up the road they forced me to stop & both idiots exited the van with the passenger threatening me. They then drove off, later stopping again where the driver got out & refused to exchange details.

Reported to police that day.
