11-08-16 08:15 M5 Northbound Bristol to Gloucester.
I have never come across a more dangerous and aggressive driver! Had the police seen him drive he would have been banned, had he caused the accident he so nearly did he'd have been jailed.
The driver of this dark grey Ford Mondeo estate first appeared in my rear view mirror closing in ay high speed whilst I was overtaking in the fast lane, he decided to sit about 2 meters from my bumper. There were two cars I was overtaking, with a short gap between both, but the driver behind didn't want to wait for me to finish this, so began flashing lights and gesturing, which I ignored. When I eventually finished my manoeuvre he was shouting and putting his fingers up at me. To this I raised my hands to clap him and moved into the middle lane to let him pass, and as he did so he continued to gesture at me and sped off.
A minute later he had slowed right down and was in the slow lane, as I passed him he swerved his car to hit me, I moved narrowly avoiding him. What then followed was 5 minutes of him circling me, one minute sitting a meeting from my tea bumper the next beside me ranting, then in front putting his brakes on feet in front of me and swerving across lanes. In two more occasions he tried to ram my car.
Finally as we came near a service station he was gesturing for me to pull in clearly saying "Come on then!!". I nodded as he pulled ahead, then when he entered the slip road I didn't follow. This clearly angered him as he swerved back onto the motorway nearly hitting a van as he aimed his car for me, and then he sped off into the distance.
Luckily he just passed my junction and I was able to escape him.
Id report it to the police but what would they do?
