The driver of the camera vehicle left their breaking very late - and in my personal opinion were travelling faster than the road conditions would allow, despite the speed limit being 50 for a lorry.
Remember, only ever drive as fast as you're able to stop in an emergency for the distance you can see ahead, the vehicle pulled out and the lorry had plenty of time to slow down to accommodate, but didn't and decided to proceed in a dangerous fashion.
You can see the speed go up about 2 seconds after the vehicle has pulled out, where it should be going down.
You made a bad situation 10x worse. Why speed up and tail-gate? They slowed down because you were up their arse.. IF they have to brake sharply at that speed and distance, do you think you are going to be able to assess the situation AND stop in time? Try saying "yes" to an instructor and see how quickly you fail and for good reason. Bloody hell man..you even tail-gated them whilst they were doing 30 in a 30 zone.
