I am inclined to agree with the previous comment regarding your reaction. As much as they were in the wrong, your retaliation was getting to the point where you would be the one in trouble with Police for road rage if they witnessed things at that point. Accelerating hard just to keep up with them and have a go was pointless in my opinion. A more effective course of action would have been to submit the footage of the car cutting you up to Police. They do listen and would at least issue a warning to the address that car is registered to. That would be far more effective than shouting at the driver with a threat of physical violence. They'll have driven away from that feeling more aggressive against bikers and that does not seem to be your overall aim here.
