There's also a part 2 to this. Do to a confused sat nav I left the motorway at the next junction and rejoined. Guess who I caught up with 8 mins later travelling in convoy? They were a good 1/2 mile apart when I exited. Don't think they were expecting me to reappear. Notice the bmw brake lights as he sees my car appear behind

Those two are definitely traveling together
Would have been interesting if you had caught them on camera trying it on someone else.
Dangerous conditions to be doing that, could have caused a right pile up.

Thank you for your suggestion about insurance Co. I'll speak to them in the morning and see what they say.I agree they should be more interested than the police as it would have affected them financially if I'd hit the bmw. Incidentally my car also has a 'baby on board' sign in the back window. Fortunately our 1 year old boy wasn't in the car at the time

I wonder if your insurance company would like the information (video and details) so they can check the owners addresses of both cars and forward to IFED if needed. The normal police are either short staffed, too f'king lazy or mismanaged to bother unless an accident causing injury has occurred.

Pretty sure that the actual insurance company(s) of the BMW and Merc would be concerned.

Does look a bit suspicious especially as the BMW driver slowed to allow the Merc to pull in front of him/her, so was more than aware of its presence. No need to over exaggerate the braking to an almost stand still.
Maybe the BMW driver will see this on here and explain.

I hate the word accident. We should use 'collision' or 'crash' unless it's proven that there was no way to avoid the incident. Accident implies that there is no blame. Hope the police get rid of these scammers.

Yeah, I agree. I don't think 'Me' was trying to lessen to impact of their statement. I would call such driving intentionally trying to cause a collision/crash/injury.
