LX55 OTM 2016-05-20 22:43:05

Accosted by the male driver of this black Audi A3 at 1240 UTC after being almost run over by him as he reversed out of a side road near to Pete's Mini Market in Sandy Bedfordshire on Friday 20th May 2016. Started to reverse out into the main St Neots Road, having been improperly parked well within 15 metres of the junction and without regard to anyone around him. I called out in panic, as he had clearly not seen him and in the heat of the moment called him a prat for having started the manouvre without checking his surroundings.

He came up St Neots Road, heading north towards the A1 and as he spotted me walking along on the opposite pavement, he stopped, wound down his window and using the foulest of bad language suggested I watched what I was saying. He then drove on for several hundred yards with his left indicator still running, thereby causing potentail confusion to oncoming traffic.

The driver was of a swarthy complexion, mid brown hair and wearing light coloured clothing. Clearly not someone to tackle with as his behaviour was quite threatening, even though he was the one driving his vehicle inconsiderately. Would not recommend getting involved with him on the basis that he might turn violent as well as abusive.
