Although nothing illegal, this driver demonstrated an element of self-importance as well as showing off.
At M55 J3 Greenhalgh he was in the right lane (Kirkham/Blackpool) which was axshort queue and the left lane was to join the M55 eastbound which was a long queue.
Although not undertaking he was in the wrong lane and demonstrated queue jumping tactics to show off his car as well as the noisy exhaust and speeding ahead of others who waited in the queue.
If he had waited in the left lane then nothing more would have been thought, but a combination of queue cheating, aggressive acceleration and noisy exhaust are all connected to someone with an element of narcissism in their personality.
Narcissists normally behave in immoral ways to disguise their weaknesses but very often the weaknesses show in other ways as they did with this driver.
